Nature of the service
The site publishes river readings and guides, and passes booking requests on to independent kayak hire companies. It does not hire out equipment itself. The applicable rules are set out in the booking terms and the privacy policy. An introduction to the site can be found on the about page.
Data sources
The hydrological data displayed (flows, water levels, temperatures), the rainfall readings and the navigation status come from the Public Service of Wallonia. They are reproduced as published, then formatted. The forecast flow is an estimate specific to the site, explained in the forecast method.
Intellectual property
The texts, layout, graphics and code of the site are protected by copyright. Any reproduction or commercial reuse without prior written permission is prohibited. Short quotation with mention of the site’s name is permitted. The original public data remains subject to the reuse conditions of its producer.
